WHY WE DO IT
Abacus Associates L3C is committed to creating better outcomes for children, families, and communities. We believe that mission counts, and that we are most impactful by working in support of organizations that provide a social benefit.
The inspiration behind Abacus Associates L3C evolved from the work previously done by the company’s Principal, Dana Oltchick Lundy. Over the course of more than three decades, Dana has had a long career working with nonprofit and early education organizations. Dana was often involved in discussions about how gaps in services, limited and targeted resources, and access to expertise present obstacles that challenge agencies to reach their missions of supporting at-risk populations. With the desire to help others increase their social impact, Dana founded Abacus Associates L3C. This provided her with the flexibility to assist educational and charitable entities in new and targeted ways, and she had a cadre of associates to help support the work!
The mission of Abacus Associates L3C is to increase the capacity of organizations so all individuals may reach their fullest potential.
We do this by working with organizations that provide charitable and educational services in order to improve outcomes for at-risk populations.
